In cases where this Application indicates certain Data as optional, Users are free to refrain from providing such Data without any consequence to the availability or operation of the Service.

Processing Methods
The Data Controller adopts appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of Personal Data.

Legal Basis for Processing

- The User has given consent for one or more specific purposes; Note: in some jurisdictions, the Data Controller may be permitted to process Personal Data until the User objects (“opt-out”), without having to rely on consent or another legal basis, provided the processing is not governed by European data protection law;
- Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the User is a party or to take steps at the request of the User prior to entering into a contract;
- Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject;
- Processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the User or of another natural person;
- Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Data Controller;

The User’s Personal Data may be transferred to a country other than the one in which the User is located. The User has the right to obtain information on the legal basis of transfers of Personal Data outside the European Union or to an international organization governed by public international law, such as the UN, as well as on the security measures adopted by the Data Controller to safeguard the Data.
The User may check whether any of the transfers described above take place by examining the relevant sections of this document or by making a request to the Data Controller at the contact details provided above.
Retention Period
Data is processed and stored for the time required by the purposes for which it was collected.
Therefore:
- Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Data Controller and the User will be retained until the completion of such contract;
- Personal Data collected for purposes attributable to the legitimate interest of the Data Controller will be retained until such interest is satisfied. The User may obtain further information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Data Controller.
When processing is based on the User’s consent, the Data Controller may retain Personal Data for a longer period until such consent is revoked. In addition, the Data Controller may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority.
Once the retention period expires, Personal Data will be deleted. Therefore, at the end of the retention period, the right of access, deletion, rectification, and data portability cannot be exercised.
Rights of the User
Users have the right to exercise certain rights with respect to the Personal Data processed by the Data Controller.
In particular, the User has the right to:
- Withdraw consent at any time. The User may withdraw consent to the processing of their Personal Data previously given;
- Object to processing. The User may object to the processing of their Personal Data where it is carried out on a legal basis other than consent. Further details on the right to object are provided in the section “Details on the right to object” below;
- Access their data. The User has the right to obtain information about their Personal Data processed by the Data Controller, certain aspects of processing, and a copy of the Personal Data being processed;
- Verify and request rectification. The User may verify the accuracy of their Personal Data and request that it be updated or corrected;
- Obtain restriction of processing. When certain conditions are met, the User may request restriction of processing of their Personal Data. In this case, the Data Controller will process the Data only for storage purposes;
- Obtain erasure or removal of Personal Data. When certain conditions are met, the User may request the deletion of their Personal Data by the Data Controller;
- Receive their data or have it transferred to another controller. The User has the right to receive their Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, to have it transmitted to another data controller without hindrance. This right applies when processing is carried out by automated means and is based on consent, on a contract of which the User is a party, or on contractual measures preceding such a contract;
- Lodge a complaint. The User may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority or take legal action.

Where Personal Data is processed for public interest purposes, in the exercise of official authority vested in the Data Controller, or for the pursuit of legitimate interests, Users have the right to object to the processing on grounds relating to their particular situation.
Please note that where Personal Data is processed for direct marketing purposes, Users may object to such processing without providing any justification. How to Exercise Rights
To exercise their rights, Users may send a request to the contact details of the Data Controller provided in this document. Requests are free of charge and will be processed by the Data Controller without undue delay, and in any event within one month.
Additional Information on Processing
Judicial Defense
The User’s Personal Data may be used by the Data Controller in court proceedings or in the preparatory stages thereof to defend against abuses in the use of this Application or the connected Services by the User.
The User declares to be aware that the Data Controller may be obliged to disclose Personal Data by order of public authorities.
Specific Information Notices
Upon request, in addition to the information contained in this Privacy Policy, this Application may provide the User with additional and contextual information concerning specific Services or the collection and processing of Personal Data.
System Logs and Maintenance
For operational and maintenance needs, this Application and any third-party services used by it may collect system logs, which are files that record interactions and may contain Personal Data, such as the User’s IP address.
